My name is Dawn Grimshaw and I’m a Realtor® at Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate with the Omaha Home Pros Team. Licensed since 2000, this is my 25th year selling real estate! Also, I have a lot of experience, not just in real estate, but I also have a bachelor’s degree from UNO in criminal justice and I was a family support worker.
Now since becoming a Realtor®, I continue to enrich my knowledge with additional education so that I may be able to do an even better job for my clients. Some of my training includes certifications for the following:

When I work with clients, one of the most important things I try to focus on is to put your mind at ease. I know that you’re going to have lots of questions and I want to be as available for you as possible. I also have a fabulous team that helps me do all of the effective marketing things that we do. One of my team members specializes in our transaction management, so she makes sure that everything goes smoothly from the time that we list your house, or the time that you write a contract to purchase a home, to the time that we close. In addition to maybe showing houses for me, they also are listing properties for sale too, so sometimes it helps us find a house maybe even before it hits the market. Having this team support really benefits you and how I can best serve you.
And when I’m not selling real estate, I love spending time with my family and I have three dogs that we spend a lot of time with too. I have two children, Jillian who is a hair stylist, and Sasha works in IT. A few years ago, when my youngest daughter was in high school, we had a foreign exchange student, Marco from Italy, living with us. We’ve had foreign exchange students in the past and we just love opening our home up to the children and letting them experience life in America.
I love being a Realtor®. I love the joy on their face when they find the right home. I love being able to help people through difficult situations and trying to make it just a little bit easier and less stressful for them.
